Overview
React Dose is a Node.js CLI I built in two months. In short: you run one command, pick Vite, Next.js, or React Router, and it scaffolds a production-ready React app with a feature-first folder layout instead of demo boilerplate.
It does not replace official tools. It runs create-vite, create-next-app, or create-react-router first, then injects features, providers, utilities, and a branded landing page so you can ship product code from day one.
The CLI is published as create-react-dose on npm. Docs live at react-dose-docs.vercel.app. Source is in the React-Dose monorepo under packages/cli.
Usage
npx create-react-dose@latest- Requires Node.js 18+ and npm, pnpm, or yarn.
- Run the command above, or pass a folder: npx create-react-dose@latest ./my-app
- Pick Vite, Next.js, or React Router, plus TypeScript, Tailwind, and state if you need them.
- Then: cd my-app && npm run dev
